Keep it free for those who served

Every gift and every partnership helps keep the Recovery Companion free for veterans, active duty, National Guard and Reserve, and first responders.

The cost of waiting

Alcohol and drugs take a staggering toll in the United States every year. Enter the year you were born to see the estimated scale of loss across your lifetime, and so far this year.

Every number is a person. Estimates use recent CDC figures: about 178,000 deaths a year from excessive alcohol use (2020–2021 average) and about 80,000 drug overdose deaths (2024). Applying today's annual toll across each year of a life is an illustration of scale, not a precise historical count. Ways to help

The app is free for the people who served. Keeping it that way takes gifts, partners, and people willing to say it out loud.

Give

A one-time or monthly gift funds free access for the people who need it most, and the independent evaluation we have committed to running.

Donate

Partner

Courts, county programs, tribal health organizations, and veteran service organizations can bring the companion to the people they serve, including the supervised tier.

Start a conversation

Spread the word

Share it with someone who needs it, or with someone who can help carry it forward. A post in the right unit, lodge, or department reaches people we cannot.
